    AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure)

    AMI is a technology that the smart meter automatically measures the amount of power used at home and the information is transmitted through the communication network. Based on this data, utilities are charging electricity to meet consumers' electricity needs. AMI can also control fraud and meter tampering and improve revenue collection through automatic disconnect of those consumers engaged in electricity theft or in violation of the contract terms.
    AMI Key/Expert user is connented to HES, MDMS by AMI Operation. Smart Meter is connected to DCU, Drive By by PLC/RF, RF. EDM Key user is connected to EDM by management forecast info. Billing/CRM user is connected to Billing by billing/CRM service. Field Manager is connected to CRM by Work order. Archive Key user is connected to Archive by operation archive.  EDM, billing, CRM, Archive are exchanged archiving data. System Admin(server monitoring/management) are managed this flow.

    KT has been implementing the Uzbek AMI project which installs the AMI system and the 1.47 million smart meters in Bukhara, Samarkand and Jizzakh in Uzbekistan since 2016 until 2020.

    Uzbekistan Central AMI System Project
    Legacy Billing system(electrouchet), new billing system, central ami system(CAS) - MDMS, HES, WFM. and Deverse smart meters(6.3mil). tashkent city, andjan, kashka-darya, karakal-pakstan, tashkent rwsion, namangan, surkhan-darya, navoi, syrdaryo, fergana, khorezm.Legacy Billing system are conneted with AMI system, KAIFA ESM(1.7mil) - samarkand, jizzak, bukhara.
    KT started off the Uzbek Central AMI system project on March 2019, this system will accommodate the 8 million smart meters in 14 PTES in Uzbekistan and will interact the Billing system.
